Open Board Positions

Are you excited about working with like-minded individuals to make a positive change in our community through volunteering? Then we would love for you to apply to be an Board Member.

EXPECTATIONS FOR EACH BOARD MEMBER:

  • Lead one volunteer event per month (12 per year)

  • Be a brand ambassador promoting CGB and our values

  • Complete all assigned action items within a reasonable timeframe

Want In?

  • Ensure the CGB website is up to date, adding new team members and content as needed

  • Manage the CGB Google account, including creating email addresses for new team members, managing distribution lists and Google Drive access

  • Curate and send the CGB monthly newsletter

  • Produce relevant and engaging content about CGB across our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

  • Grow the CGB social media following for each channel

  • Monitor messages and inquiries on the CGB website and social media channels

  • Manage CGB merchandise, including t-shirts, business cards, etc.

Marketing & Communications

Non-Profit Partnerships & Event Coordination

  • Represent CGB to non-profits throughout central Ohio

  • Schedule and post events as they are finalized with our community partners

  • Coordinate events calendar in Google Drive

  • Maintain non-profit contact info in Google Drive

  • Manage day-to-day communications with non-profits and the dedicated events inbox

  • Semi-Annual communication to non-profit partners

  • Reach out to 2 new non-profits per month or goal set by board

  • Coordinate Happy Hours and other community events in partnership with other board members
